2013 - Week three training review

Unfortunately due to my wonderful luck, I had the opportunity privilege of getting influenza during my week two training regimen. I was able to get one run in before the influenza got the best of me. It was in the best conditions possible a balmy -11 degrees. I have never felt such bitter cold in my whole life. It also didn't help a whole lot the symptoms of the flu were already manifesting itself prior to my run.

LUCKILY week three was met with good health and I was able to get my necessary mileage in for the week. Unfortunately I let my body digress so much during the holidays most runs right now are quite painful and not very pleasant. I am excited for the opportunity to get past the painful stage and back to running fit. It will be a blessed day.

Monday the cold temperatures which had engulfed the State of Utah were still prevalent. I went for at 12:30 p.m. and was met with a temperature of a balmy 11 degrees. Wednesday was not any better as I dragged myself out of bed at 5:00 a.m. to get my run in.

Saturday was a little bit of a different story however. A storm was on it's way in and warmed the temperatures tremendously. I was finally able to run in 31 degree weather. It was a VERY welcome change. I am excited for when we start to see temperatures in the 50's and I can start to abandon my cold weather gear again.

Well, I have attached my latest video and my stats for my week three training. Hope you enjoy!
