Hi, I'm Still Here I Guess

Well, I guess I couldn't really let go of this old past time of mine. Though I am not quite sure what direction I want to take with this thing, I have decided to continue on with this regular format for awhile.

Ideally, I think I would prefer to make videos, but, considering 95 percent of my runs are in the dark right now, I don't think it would be super exciting to watch if you watch. When I can venture onto the trails more, I will definitely I think make this a goal of mine. I do enjoy capturing some video of the amazing scenery from here in the grand State of Utah, which I live.

Anyways, since my last post I my running has progressed rather nicely. I was able to run 100 miles for the month of December, which has kind of turned into a yearly tradition, though not by design. I took a couple of weeks off of work and really focused on running lots and lots of hills. This has helped my running immensely and will continue to be a focus for the foreseeable future.

I am also not too far away from the beginning stages of race season as my first race is a little over a month away. I am excited to get these going as they are very motivating for me and keep running fresh.

I have also been motivated by my friend of 25 years, who was the one who actually got me into running to begin with, get back into the wonderful world of running. He has had life events which are more important than running was, but is finally starting to be able to work running back into his life and has been exciting to see his progression back into running.

Well, I can honestly say I am happy to still be back on this blog and will try to post weekly updates. I am still wanting to tweak it still, just need to figure out exactly what I want to do. In the meantime, happy running!
