Time to get back to running....again
I got the green light from the doctor to be able to return to running in small doses this week, so this is precisely what I will do. Now begins the long, slow climb back to being fit again. With some races approaching in about three months, I want to get into decent shape before so I can be respectable in my results.
I was really consistent all of last winter, and hope I can get the same consistency from here on out. I really feel though, I needed this break from running as I was still feeling burned out mentally after this last year of training. In looking back at my running information, I had been running/training consistently for 11 months straight and 24 out of the last 25 months. Having been training so much, my brain needed a timeout for awhile.
So here it goes again, time to ramp back up and get ready for 2018. I feel ready, finally!
